What is the Seattle e-bike subscription?
A Wombi subscription gives you a premium e-bike, accessories, and ongoing maintenance at our Seattle shop for one monthly price—no long-term commitment, no hassle.
How much is a Wombi Subscription?
It depends on the e-bike and accessories you choose. Subscriptions start at $135/month for the Tern Quick Haul and go up to $175/month for the Tern GSD. Accessories range from $5–$12/month, plus tax. No matter which setup you choose, your subscription includes all the perks, like maintenance and free delivery, just to name a few. Learn more about the subscription benefits here. In which parts of Seattle do you operate?
We operate in most areas of Seattle, however, there are a few differences in the subscription depending on where you live.
For customers who live within 6 miles of our shop, we include:
free delivery at the start of each subscription and pickup at the end.
free on-site servicing, where we make minor repairs at your house, while you wait.
free delivery and pickup for any service that needs to be completed at our shop.
And for those who are beyond 6 miles from our shop in Seattle, you may still be able to get a subscription, however, there will be an additional mileage fee. For customers further than 7 miles, Wombi will make a determination on our ability to service.
Can I still get an e-bike if I don’t live in Seattle?
At this time, we service most parts of Seattle, as well as SoCal and the Bay Area. If you’re not located in any of those regions and are interested in the Wombi subscription, let us know where we should service next!
How do I get my e-bike after signing up for a subscription?
Schedule your handover at our Greenwood location, or we can deliver your e-bike right to your door, fully assembled and ready to ride. You’ll also get a full tutorial on how everything works.
Can I purchase my e-bike?
Yes! With our flex-to-own option, a portion of your monthly payments can go toward the option of buying the bike outright after 12 months.
Can I switch e-bikes or accessories if my needs change?
Absolutely. Need a bigger bike or a different setup for hauling kids or gear? We’ll help you swap to a better fit at no cost other than any difference in your monthly price.
Are helmets provided with the e-bike subscription?
No, but you are welcome to purchase a helmet from us.
What is Flex-to-Own, and how does it work?
Flex-to-own lets you purchase your e-bike at a reduced price after 12 months of subscribing. It’s a great option to get a premium bike at a great deal! Reach out to get your e-bike estimate today!
Do I charge the e-bike battery?
Yes! You can remove the battery using the same key as your wheel lock and charge it using the provided charger—just plug it into any standard outlet. Most batteries fully charge in 4–6 hours. If you have access to an outlet where your bike is stored, you can also charge the battery while it’s still on the bike.
Can I use the e-bike for delivery services?
Our bikes and subscription are designed for personal use only and not permitted for commercial delivery, as noted in our terms and conditions.
